Steel tennis nets were first developed by AMV playground designers for installation in public parks to better utilize existing tennis courts with vandal resistant equipment.
When setting out school playground equipment it was obvious that tennis nets and mini tennis nets could be incorporated into the games on offer. Other features gained from the mini tennis nets were dividers for zoned areas creating a fence and gate and low sides to a MUGA.
The swinging gate tennis nets have provided schools with small playgrounds an opportunity to maximize their playgrounds area. Playground markings enhance the game of tennis.
